Brazilian families are looking for a sponsor
humedica’s children’s village is situated outside Nova Friburgo, about 150 km north-east of Rio de Janeiro. Like a paradise island, the houses are located on the edge of the valley that was originally settled by Europeans. More than two hundred children from needy families are provided daily with high-quality food, looked after by dedicated staff and enabled to play, sing and learn how to relate to and care for each other. The children’s day care house is part of our family sponsorship program. It supports the children and their families and helps them to break the vicious circle caused by poverty and a lack of education.
